About Us

Dr. Suzy Harris has pursued a career as a chiropractic physician in order to provide a powerful healthcare alternative to those with difficult-to-treat conditions that may not have fully responded to typical medical treatment. It is of utmost importance to Dr. Harris that her patients understand and take an active role in their healthcare. With the proper support, the body has an incredible ability to heal itself.

Dr. Harris enthusiastically works alongside all healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for you. With easy to understand explanations and a compassionate demeanor, she creates a caring, comfortable experience that allows patients to feel well-understood and empowered to reclaim a higher level of health.

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care works by strengthening and balancing the nervous system in order to promote the healthy functioning of the body. Your nervous system consists of your brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of your body and it controls the function of every cell, tissue, organ, and bodily system. If the nervous system is compromised, pain and dysfunction can result not only in the spine, but in other parts of the body as well.

One of the most common causes of nervous system disruptions is subluxation -- joints that are fixated and not moving properly. Chiropractic care includes gentle massage and manipulation of the spine and extremeties to restore proper joint function and to strengthen supporting muscles.

Because chiropractic is a holistic practice, treatment extends beyond the time spend in the doctor's office. Along with the treatments mentioned above, Dr. Harris will also recommend a program of stretching, exercise, and good nutrition to promote better overall health.

Applied Kinesiology & Nutritional Response Testing

Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a holistic approach which utilizes muscle strength testing to uncover dysfunction or imbalance in joints, muscles, or specific organs. Nutritional Response Testing also involves muscle strength testing. With NRT, the body’s own neurological reflexes and acupuncture points will guide Dr. Harris to your nutritional program.

Many of the people we see in our practice have eaten themselves into their current state of ill-health. Nutritional deficiencies and imbalances lead to a breakdown in immunity and a loss of the ability to cope with environmental stresses (chemical, microbial, or otherwise).

Nutritional Response Testing is a systematic analysis used to determine exactly which nutrients you may need in order for your body to heal itself. Temporary changes in diet and the use of whole food supplements will assist your body’s own natural healing systems. Once your health has been restored, a good diet, regular exercise, and minimal use of supplements is all you need to maintain optimum health.
